Archt.Nilanthi Dassanayake established her own architectural practice in 1996. TNN Associates is an architectural firm with a thrust on design. Completing a decade in the field, it has left enough marks of originality to make it stand apart; to make it talked about. The firm has the expert backing of a staff handpicked for their academic achievements, as a prerequisite; and, going farther, for their eye for design.

TNN Associates moved to encompass the designing of more roomier structures than homes, such as, offices, shopping complexes, restaurants, apartments and hotels. In here too the hallmark of the firm creativity with economy, while not losing sight of utility, was delivered always to the client; offices were transformed from coups of brick and mortar in to cabins of grace; walls and ceilings, surfaces of expression, were handled to inspire.
